Mukymantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana 2024 Benefits
Maharashtra is set to initiate the “Majhi Ladki Bahin” scheme to bolster health and nutrition within families.
- Scheme Aims:
(1) To foster job creation through the provision of essential resources and support for the women and girls in the state.
(2) To aid in their economic and social rehabilitation.
(3) To empower the women of the state towards self-sufficiency.
(4) To enhance the health and nutritional well-being of women and their children who rely on them.
Maharashtra Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Women who are divorced, abandoned, or living in poverty.
(2) Women who are married, widowed, divorced, abandoned, or impoverished within the state.
(3) Individuals must be between the ages of 21 and 60.
(2) Those with a family member who pays income tax.
(1) Families with a total annual income exceeding Rs 2.50 lakh.
(5) The annual income for the beneficiary’s family must not surpass Rs 2.50 lakh.

Disqualification For Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana 2024

Eligibility For Mukymantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana
Criteria for Beneficiaries of the Program:
Eligible participants must be family members of individuals affiliated with the Government of India or State Government. If the benefits amount to less than Rs 1,500, the eligible woman will receive the remaining balance under this initiative, provided she is either currently receiving or has previously received a pension post-retirement. This will be managed through an external authority such as a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Director, or Member of a Board/Corporation/Undertaking.
Beneficiaries must be married or widowed women aged between 21 and 60 years residing in Maharashtra. Additionally, they should have family members who are regular, permanent, or contractual employees of the government.

Women who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications for this program online. The designated “Controlling Officer” will remain a maid or officer, along with the Commissioner of the Integrated Child Development Services Scheme in Navi Mumbai.
The application process is facilitated through the Scheme Application Portal, a Mobile App, or Setu Suvidha Kendra, where the final approval will be granted following application verification. Applicants must commit to adhering to the terms and conditions of the scheme. Upon approval, inspection, or through the portal, the “Co-Controlling Officer” will still hold their position.
The Setu Facilitation will be overseen by the Child Development Officer, along with support from the Centre, Gram Panchayat, and Gram Sevak. After obtaining and verifying the necessary certificate online, it’s required to submit the beneficiary’s application form to the appropriate authority. This task will be managed by the servant or relevant district women’s authorities, including the concerned Collector, Anganwadi Head Servant, and Ward Officer.
The responsibilities of these competent authorities concerning the scheme have been clearly outlined as follows: they will be overseen by the Servant, Supervisor, Chief Servant, Setu Suvidha Kendra, Gram Panchayat, Gram Sevak, and Ward Officer.

A live photograph can be taken for e-KYC purposes; to facilitate this, the woman must provide specific information to the Officer, as well as to the District Women and Child Development Officer and the relevant District Information Officer.
Funds will be transferred directly to the Saksham Bank Account (Direct Benefit Transfer) managed by the District Women and Child Development Officer, with deposits made through their office. Written objections or complaints can be submitted to them as well, with offline submissions accepted.
e) Distribution of Benefit Amount: Direct benefits will be provided to each eligible woman linked to her Aadhaar number, overseen by the Women and Child Development Department in Pune.
The Commissioner is tasked with developing the web portal and mobile application for this scheme, ensuring extensive publicity and coordination. Additionally, discussions regarding this scheme were held during Gram Sabhas and Mahila Sabhas at the village level.
b) Publication of Provisional List: A provisional list of eligible applicants will be published following the reception of applications.
Promotion of the Scheme: The District Program Officer will lead efforts to promote this initiative through the District Council/Nodal office.
